What is international mobility?
International mobility is a professional displacement that involves a temporary installation in a country other than the country of origin. International mobility covers various facets. We use term expatriation for the French person, who is appointed abroad, outside his country of origin. The term impatriation is used for the foreigner who is posted in France and the term TCN – “third country nationals” is used to designate the person appointed in a third country, outside his country of origin and out of France. If we can describe expatriate‘s journey as “Itineraries of the International” / international mobility; description for the impatriate is yet to be made.
